In October, Bellevue Bible Church hosted a special conference on an important and highly relevant topic — “Faith and Work.” This event brought together people who desired to better understand how their everyday work is connected to God’s purpose and how the Gospel can transform our attitude toward labor.
Every morning, billions of people around the world wake up and go to work. We spend a significant part of our lives working — at a desk, on a construction site, in an office, at school, in a small business, or in ministry.
Yet unfortunately, work is often undervalued and not fully understood in the light of God’s plan. The conference became a wonderful opportunity to look at work through the lens of Scripture and to see its spiritual significance.
The main themes of the conference included:
- Work as a place of ministry
Each person is called to be a light in their professional sphere — through attitude, honesty, care, and love for the people around them. - Work as a form of worship
Labor is not only a means of earning a living, but also a way to glorify God by performing our responsibilities with diligence and faithfulness. - Work as a tool of deep transformation
Through our work, God shapes our character and teaches us patience, wisdom, and responsibility. - The beauty of God’s design in every profession
No matter what we do, every field contains evidence of God’s order, purpose, and blessing.
The recording of the conference is available on our channel — you are welcome to watch, reflect, and be inspired!
