The latest Ladies Latte ministry took place on the first Saturday of March 2026 at Bryte Church. More than 80 women of different ages attended the event. The theme of the meeting was based on a passage from the Epistle of James:
“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, knowing that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. And let perseverance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing” (James 1:2–4).
The speaker was Angelina Demsky. Many know her as someone who experienced a severe family tragedy a year ago that deeply affected many. For this reason, her words about joy in the midst of trials sounded especially profound—even paradoxical. Having gone through deep pain and loss, Angelina shared reflections on why the Lord allows trials, what their purpose is, and what results they bring in the lives of those who go through them with faith. The Lord is great—only He can heal souls in such a way.
Traditionally, the Ladies Latte gathering consisted of three parts: half an hour of fellowship over breakfast, followed by the main program (worship, announcements, and the speaker’s message), and a concluding time of discussion at the tables.
For discussion, the following questions were have been proposed to help participants reflect more deeply on the topic:
— Is there an area in your life where you do not trust God?
— Share situations where you especially clearly felt God’s support.
— What trial became a turning point in your life and changed you?
It was especially touching to observe how younger sisters joyfully interacted with older women, sharing experiences and testimonies of answered prayers, laughing together, and then, holding hands, praying for one another.
For nine years now, Ladies Latte has been bringing together women of different ages, nationalities, and cultures. This time, as always, many participants were from Bryte Church, along with guests from other churches.
This ministry pursues important goals: strengthening connections between generations, creating an atmosphere of love and trust, and fulfilling the biblical calling of older women—to mentor the younger, support them with counsel and prayer, teach them to love their families, and follow Christ.
For a large church, where it is not always easy to find like-minded people, Ladies Latte has become a true blessing. Women who previously did not know each other or struggled to connect have begun opening up, building relationships, and extending hands of friendship. The kindness and love of Christ have replaced coldness, distrust, isolation, and distance. In their place have come warmth and graciousness in relationships.
To God be all the glory—our precious Lord Jesus Christ!
