On May 23, Grace Avenue Bible Church hosted a women’s breakfast titled “Spirit. Soul. Body.” The event brought together women of different ages and provided an opportunity to enjoy warm fellowship, gain valuable insights, and find encouragement for both spiritual and personal growth.
The main purpose of the gathering was to discuss important aspects of a modern woman’s life, including spiritual, emotional, physical, and hormonal health, as well as topics related to beauty and self-care.
Elena Mileeva, leader of the PCSBA Women’s Ministry, spoke about spiritual health and the true beauty of a woman. Drawing from Scripture, she shared reflections on the importance of spiritual growth and maintaining a close relationship with God. A particularly memorable part of her presentation was an illustration using a cup, which encouraged each participant to reflect on the question: “What kind of cup are you?” and to consider what fills her heart.
Certified fitness trainer and church member Zhanna Kostyuk prepared an informative presentation on healthy living. She spoke about the principles of proper nutrition, necessary physical activity, the importance of maintaining a healthy daily routine, and shared practical advice for preserving good health and well-being.
Professional nurse Svetlana Sidoruk addressed the topic of women’s hormonal health, with special attention to age-related changes in the body. Her presentation helped participants better understand the processes women experience during different stages of life.
The topic of women’s beauty was continued by professional cosmetologist Svetlana Piivoda. In her presentation, she spoke about proper facial skincare, age-related changes in the skin, and modern approaches to maintaining healthy and beautiful skin. Participants received practical recommendations they can apply in everyday life.
In addition to the speakers’ presentations, the women had an opportunity to fellowship, share life experiences, and strengthen existing friendships. A special atmosphere of warmth and comfort was created through a shared “healthy breakfast,” a dessert table, and a small gift exchange in which many participants took part by bringing beautiful cups.
The gathering became a wonderful example of how women from different generations can come together for support, encouragement, and mutual enrichment. The organizers expressed hope that similar events will continue to help women grow spiritually, care for their health, and find joy in fellowship with one another.
