On November 30, 2025, the New Hope Baptist Church took part in the 26th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in the city of Rancho Cordova. This meaningful community event once again brought together residents of different ages and nationalities, uniting them in an atmosphere of joyful anticipation of Christmas and bright hope.
About one hundred ministers, church members, youth ministry participants, and children came together with one heart and one spirit to bear witness to the true meaning of the celebration—the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The church became a living testimony of unity, love, and service to others, seeking to share the Good News with everyone present.
The festive atmosphere was filled with Christmas hymns and spiritual songs that lifted hearts toward God. With special care and attention, more than one hundred copies of the New Testament in various languages were distributed to those who desired them, so that each person could encounter the living Word of God and take home a message of hope and salvation.
Demonstrating Christian hospitality, church members lovingly treated guests to hot cocoa, cookies, and popcorn, creating an atmosphere of warmth, joy, and sincere fellowship. Invitations to the New Hope Baptist Church Christmas concert were also given to all attendees, serving as an open and heartfelt invitation to attend worship services, learn more about faith, and experience the transforming power of God’s love.
We give glory to the Lord for the opportunity to be a light in this world, to carry His love, peace, and the joy of Christmas into the hearts of people and the life of our city. May the name of Christ be glorified and may the hope He brings touch every heart.
