On June 7, a special and long-awaited event took place at Grace Avenue Bible Church - a water baptism service during which 14 young people dedicated their lives to serving the Lord. Seven young women and seven young men took this important step of faith, publicly testifying to their decision to follow Jesus Christ.
Preparation for this day lasted three months. The future church members attended special baptism classes, studied the foundations of the Christian faith, successfully passed their examinations, and eagerly anticipated the day when they would enter a covenant with the Lord through water baptism.
It was especially encouraging to see that all the baptism candidates were already actively involved in the life of the church. They serve in the youth ministry, assist on the media team, participate in children’s ministry, and are involved in many other areas of church life. It is truly inspiring to witness young people making a conscious decision at an early age to follow the Lord and serve Him with a clear conscience in their local church.
On Sunday morning, the church gathered two hours before the main worship service. A baptismal pool had been set up on the green lawn outside the church. Family members, friends, relatives, and church members came together to support and congratulate the baptism candidates and to witness this important milestone in their spiritual journey.
During the service, the youth worship team led the congregation in worship, creating a special atmosphere of joy and gratitude to God. The baptism service was conducted by Pastor Vladimir Troshin.
This day was special for the newly baptized not only because of their baptism. During the main Sunday worship service, they participated in Communion for the very first time, joining the church family in remembering the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Following the service, a celebratory luncheon was organized for the entire church, along with a special program honoring the newly baptized. Warm words of congratulations were shared, along with prayers and blessings for the young people as they continue their walk with Christ and their service to Him.

May the Lord bless these young brothers and sisters, helping them remain faithful to Him, grow spiritually, and be a light to those around them.
